Over before it has even begun

So I guess most of you know my Dad has been to visit recently.... and so you would know just how excited I was about it. But time is a tricky thing, deceptive. It felt like years in the lead up to the arrival and then less than a day (so it seemed) later my Dad was back in SA. I know this is an age old grip but once more I would like to say.... wouldn't it be great if we could just stop the clock for once and get to really immerse ourselves in a moment in time.
